  • The White Water Rafting & Whiskey trip is for anyone ages 21+ years
  • Rafts generally accommodate 4-6 guests and a guide, but the number of people in each raft can vary depending on water levels and the group’s size.
  • The rapids range from Class I-III (I-II in Lower water).
  • Rafting the Shenandoah River covers 5-7 miles and offers a fantastic opportunity for paddlers of all levels to experience class I-III (I-II+) white water rapids and enjoy the stunning scenery.
  • Guests are requested to arrive 1 hour before the departure time of their trip.

The River Riders Adventure Pass gives you access to a full day of activities! You get your choice of one guided activity and one self-guided activity.

  • Choose your guided activity from rafting, river tubing, or ziplining first.
  • Purchase your ticket based upon your guided activity choice (and whether you want a weekday or weekend ticket).
  • In the afternoon participate in up to 2 hours on The Adventure Park or The Potomac Play Pass.
  • Now that’s a day of adventure the whole family can enjoy!

The Annual White Water and Whiskey Event offers a guided white water rafting experience on the Shenandoah River with class 3 rapids. This 7-mile Shenandoah river rafting excursion is suitable for beginners to intermediate paddlers and offers beautiful scenery.

After rafting the Shenandoah River, we will continue on to Devil’s Due Distillery, which is approximately 10 minutes away from River Riders. At Devil’s Due Distillery, the master distillers will guide you through a private tour of the distillery and explain the entire distilling process. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to try their well-known whiskey and moonshine samples using a custom souvenir glass provided to you. Before the distillery tour, you will enjoy a catered BBQ buffet from a local restaurant that includes pork, brisket, sides, and non-alcoholic beverages.
